In the hydraulic governor, pressure oil enters the right space of the servo cylinder, and at the same time, the oil in the left space is discharged into the low-pressure oil circuit. Under the action of pressure difference, the servo piston will drive the rack of the fuel injection pump to move to the left, thereby reducing the fuel supply.
When the fuel supply decreases, the engine speed will gradually drop back to the set value. At this point, the centrifugal force generated by the sensing element decreases, the speed rod or transmission mechanism returns to its original position, the servo piston also stops moving, and the adjustment process ends.
Feedback mechanism:
Some speed controllers also include feedback mechanisms (such as rigid feedback mechanisms or elastic feedback mechanisms), which can further improve the accuracy and stability of speed regulation. Through a feedback mechanism, the governor can monitor the engine speed and load changes in real time, and adjust the fuel supply accordingly.
